Happy 54th Birthday, J.J. Abrams! Born today in 1966 as Jeffrey Jacob Abrams, this American comic book writer, composer, musician, actor and filmmaker is known for his work in the genres of action, drama, and science fiction.
Abrams was born and raised in New York City, New York and raised in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of American television producer Gerald W. Abrams and American television and film producer, author and academic Carol Ann Abrams.
