February 26 - Drew Goddard


Happy 45th Birthday, Drew Goddard! Born today in 1975 as Andrew Brion Hogan Goddard, this American film and television screenwriter, producer and film director began his career as a writer on television series.  
  
Goddard's credits for television included the American supernatural drama horror television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), the American action thriller television series Alias (2001–2006), and the American drama television series Lost (2004–2010)

For Netflix, he created the American sci-fi web television series Daredevil (2015–2018). 
  
Among his film credits, Goddard is best known for co-writing (alongside American producer, director, screenwriter, comic book writer, composer and Buffy creator Josh Whedon) his feature film debut. This was the 2012 American horror comedy thriller/mystery film 'The Cabin in the Woods'. 
  
Three years later, Goddard won the National Board of Review Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. This was for Ridley Scott's 2015 American drama/science fiction film 'The Martian'. 
  
Goddard has been active from 2011–present.
